  • Not at all! The Okanagan Pickleball Social is specifically built for players who are new to organized play. Whether this is your very first event or you have played in tournaments before, just show up ready to play, connect, and have fun.

  • No, you do not need a partner. You can register as an individual, and you will rotate and play alongside a variety of different players throughout the day.

  • All registration fees are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another player of a similar skill level. Please email our Event Coordinator at least 24 hours prior to the event so we can update the registration details.

  • Follow us on social media and join our email newsletter list to be the first to know about upcoming socials, festivals, and registration dates!

  • Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled start time to check in, meet other players, and participate in the guided warm-up.

  • Please wear proper non-marking court shoes or athletic sneakers designed for court movement.

  • Protective eyewear is not mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged for all court play.

  • Yes! We strongly encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle, electrolyte drinks, and healthy snacks to keep your energy up throughout the day.

  • Parking is available on-site in the Rutland Activity Centre parking lot.

  • This is an outdoor event, so playing conditions are weather-dependent. If severe weather makes courts unsafe, play may be delayed, modified, or cancelled. Refunds are not issued for weather cancellations, but every effort will be made to complete games or adjust formats safely. We will communicate any schedule updates as early as possible.

  • Absolutely! Spectators are welcome. We encourage them to bring a lawn chair, cheer you on, and bring their positive energy.

  • Yes. Our media team will be capturing photos and video footage throughout the day for our recap galleries and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let our team know at check-in.
